Texas Land and Ranch

The Texas Farm and Ranch Lands Conservation plan (TFRLCP) balances Tx Parks and Wildlife Department's (TPWD's) objective to save all-natural resources by safeguarding doing work lands from fragmentation and development. TFRLCP preserves and enhances the environmental and farming productivity of those places through Agricultural Conservation Easements.

The TFRLCP aids accountable stewardship and conservation of working places, liquid, fish and wildlife, and farming production through:

• Creating interest and awareness in easement programs and other choices for conserving performing lands.
• Using readily available monies to invest in as many top-notch tasks as you can.
• Showcasing the ecological and financial value of working places additionally the possibilities to conserve working places for the future.

Initially set up by the legislature in 2005, Tx HB1925 (partner costs SB1597) transferred the TFRLCP from Texas General Land Office to TPWD efficient January 1, 2016.
